今さらなネタですが、パソコンの冷却に関してです。

私基本的には部品を秋葉原で購入し、自分で組み立てたパソコンを使います。
オーバークロックは一切しませんが、自分でパソコンを組むとき一番気を使うは冷却です。
高い熱は電子部品を劣化させ、パソコンの寿命を縮めます。
私は静音化よりパソコンの健康を優先してます。

//High heat deteriorates electronic parts, and shortens the longevity of the computer.

最近はパソコンに詳しい方でなくてもパソコンが自分で温度を検知し、必要に応じて
ファンを回してくれるパソコンが多いと思います。
//Recentｌy, computers control fan speed themselves with pre installed function.
が、「プリインストール不信」の私は「SpeedFan」というファンの回転数をコントロール
してくれるソフトを使ってファンの回転数をコントロールしてもらっています。
//But I'm using "Speedfan" to control fan speed.
//Because I don't believe pre installed function.

Windows用のソフトです
最初設定に戸惑いますが、とても優れたファンコントロール
ソフトです。
//"Speedfan" is for windows.
//Setting is difficult, but very useful.
またBootcampでWindowsを動かした場合、ファンの回転数が変わりません。
最低回転数のまま固定です。あり得ません。
//Fan speed is fix when windows running on bootcamp.
//The speed is always minimum.
そこで私はいくつかのBlogで紹介されていた「Lubbo's Fan Control」というソフトを使い
夏場はファン回転数を常時 MAXにしています。
//So I'm using "Lubbo's Fan Control" introduced some blogs.
//I set fan speed always maximum in summer.

Bootcamp上で動かすWindows用のソフトです。
温度により速度を変える機能が正常に動いて
くれません。。。

ただ、iMacはファンの回転数MAXにしても、夏場クーラー無しの部屋で稼働させると
かなり高温になると思います。

そろそろエアコンを使うかどうか迷う季節なので、
「シグマAPO USB扇風機 UMF01BK」を購入。iMacの背面に向けて風を送ってみました。

iMacは本体裏面全てがヒートシンクみたいなものなので、裏面に風を当てるだけでも
結構ちゃんと冷えています。
私はこのUSB扇風機を2つ購入し、iMacの背面左右両方に風を当ててます。

//So iMac become cool .
最近私が遭遇したパソコンの不調のほとんどは熱が原因でした。
